One of my favorite things in life to do is to go snowboarding. I grew up as a skier, but I am now a full-time snowboarder.

One of my favorite places on earth is Mammoth Mountain in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA. It is located near Yosemite National Park in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. Mammoth is close enough to drive to, and is large enough to ride for a long weekend without getting bored.

The past two seasons have been incredible for Mammoth in terms of snowfall. There was enough for them to stay open until July 4th weekend both years! Not bad for California!
